Today in English Class we started with a Long vowel, Short Vowel Review
We continued with a short writing about a cat. Through this we reviewed Nouns, Verbs, and Adjectives. We introduced Adverbs as well.
In Units of Inquiry we had 3 things happening.
The class is currently broken into Reading Teams based upon Ability Levels

We continued to use the Study Steps to Learn a Word.
In Week 5 we reviewed short vowel words and compared them to long vowel sound words.

In order to continue our Fractured Fairy Tales Unit, We will be watching The 10th Kingdom. There are 5 episodes in this miniseries. Over the next 2 weeks, we will watch all of them.
At this point in the year, I know students will be in and out of school for various family events. They may also be pulled out of class to get help with other things. To help with this, I am posting the links to the episodes below. You can watch them with your family at home.
